Truss Technology Inc. (TTI) is a company that manufactures and sells roof trusses for the residential, commercial and agricultural building industry in the Central Willamette Valley. TTI is an S-Corp. located in Salem, Oregon, the heart of the Willamette Valley. TTI is operated by Doug Enger and Shaun Retz and they have grown from 8 employees to over 30 since opening their doors in November 16, 2005. TTI is now the industry leader in the central Willamette Valley capturing 36.0 percent of the truss market.

Our key objective has been on how to best serve our customers, which does not always mean providing the cheapest truss price, but providing the best value for their money. Building value into the trusses helps minimize or eliminate excess materials and helps to expedite the construction process, saving our customers money.

   The particular focus of TTI has always been the large custom home market. There is less competition in market and it requires greater design skills and technical expertise to build these projects without error. TTI also relies on work derived from subdivisions, multi-family housing, commercial and agricultural projects, as they provide repetition in production because the design work has to be done only once. The competition for these jobs is fierce with lower margins, but they‘ve proven to require less overhead therefore maximizing productivity and profitability.

   We have developed an extremely loyal following, which is growing every day. Our customers realize that there is value in what we provide that goes far beyond the trusses themselves. Our goal has always been to provide a quality product, superior to that of the competition, but match that with a level of knowledge and service that they can find nowhere else.

   TTI uses state-of-the-art computer design software and manufacturing equipment to build a reliable and consistently high quality product. TTI did not buy a foothold in the market with low pricing, but immediately established itself as a leader in the industry, whose accuracy, efficiency and consistency are second to none.
